This is a Capitol project bringing a range of modernizations to a “Scattered Site” family development. Built in the early 1980s, the entire set of 16 sites with (32) Units belonging to the Worcester Housing Authority were distributed in a cluster of infill sites within the city. All are receiving a diverse range of upgrades to qualify for “Federalization”, or refinancing of their current funding status. The scope includes envelope and roof repairs, site work, energy-efficient boiler replacements, ADA upgrades, bath and kitchen rehabilitation, and new finishes for these homes to see another 40 years of service for Worcester’s citizens.
