The multi-site project included the renovation of 24 units in 9 gut-rehab projects on distressed sites scattered throughout the City of Boston. Next Phase Studios and Department of Neighborhood Development (DND), in this series of projects sought to transform underutilized properties into affordable housing, with renovations constructed to meet Energy Star standards. A focus of our approach was to integrate the city, various agencies and future owners for improved consensus building. The scope ranged from feasibility and analysis reports to complete design services requiring full structural and mechanical upgrades. All projects involved full roof replacements.
