The globalization of design and creativity has led to the opportunity to establish a unique place for design, communication and socializing in the beautiful landscape at River Gui. We can call this place a ‘biotope of creativity’. Visitors from within China and worldwide will meet and work here in an exciting environment which can be described as inviting, inspiring, human friendly, ‘natural’, and self-sustaining. A Creative Zone as a place for inspiring acts of creativity requires openness to fundamental questions not only about forms of design and art, but also forms of life, economy, thought, and beliefs. The Creative Zone should be experienced as a place for people – a humanistic place. This valuable land on the River Gui will be transformed into a unique fabric of gardens and plazas with integrated clusters of buildings for the various programs of the Creative Zone.
